Today the Halifax County Health Department added 10 new positive cases of COVID-19 which brings the cumulative total since March of last year to 5,422.

The health department as of March 17 has recorded a recovery rate of 95.56 percent.

That percentage represents 5,181 people who have recovered as of March 17. There have been 133 patients who have not recovered as of March 17. There have been 108 related deaths.
