Litter complaint leads to drug counts

Investigation of a litter complaint in Enfield Tuesday led to the arrest of a man and his girlfriend on felony marijuana counts, town police Chief Tyree Davis said.

RRPD offers vehicle B&E prevention tips

With at least 80 vehicle break-ins reported in the city since the first of September, Roanoke Rapids Police Chief Chuck Hasty offered some tips on how to prevent becoming a statistic.

An 18-year-old was arrested early this morning after Roanoke Rapids police responded to the Long Circle area on a vehicle breaking and entering call.

Fire on high: Locals help in mountain blazes
