I would like to thank the NAACP, the Halifax County Economic Development Commission, Halifax Horizons, the Chamber of Commerce, and The Visitors’ Bureau and many others for their public support for the efforts of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners to bring much needed new jobs to Halifax County. This kind of unity and solidarity demonstrates to new businesses that our community is worthy of their investment. Thank you to everyone, “Working Together Works”.

We sometimes have our differences and I think that is healthy for any community. However, the way we approach and work through those differences is what determines success or failure.

I challenge all citizens of Halifax County to recognize and respect each other’s differences, and let’s use these differences to develop solutions that will make our community stronger and better.

The Halifax County Board of Commissioners welcomes your opinion on any issue that is important to you. Public input and feedback help us to make better decisions. Together we are going to make Halifax County a better place to live, work and raise a family. We want all who will, to play a role in that success. We (the Board of Commissioners), also believe that “Working Together Works”.

May God continue to bless Halifax County and our Nation!
