The new features will bring comments back to the website for all posts except obituaries. The redesign will be compatible with all mobile phones, have email alerts on breaking news and allow you to share our stories to Facebook or Twitter with the click of your mouse. Keyword archive searches will also come back to the site itself.
In going through this redesign, we have decided to temporarily suspend comments which, because of our current hosting agreement, forces you to leave rrspin.com to post your thoughts and concerns. The new system will allow us to preview the comments before allowing them to go on the page and edit them for grammar, potentially libelous comments and profanities.
Several readers have complained about having to leave the site to make comments and we agree it is a nuisance.
Until the redesign is completed we hope you consider leaving comments on stories on our Facebook page — Editor.

There is to be no profanity and there is to be no character assassination even if the person being written about is a suspect in a crime.
Comments that presume knowledge of a person’s home life, financial situation or other personal details will be not be posted as will comments which presume legal knowledge.
All comments must be on the topic of the story and offer the reader’s insight on a particular issue. rrspin.com will cease posting comments if the editor determines readers are infighting with one another and not staying on the topic of a story.
rrspin.com prefers readers use their real names because anonymous posters are accountable for their comments just as readers who post their names are.
