Lieutenant Doug Pilgreen of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Corporal Chris Scott and Deputy Daniel Dickens were called to Ingram Place shortly before 1:30 p.m. Ingram Place is located off King's Crossroads near Highway 903.
The officers located the victim, who was transported to Halifax Regional Medical Center and treated and released.
Scott and Dickens charged Tiffany Rooks with assault with a deadly weapon and she was jailed on $500 bond. She has a February 14 court date.
