Captain James Avens of the Weldon Police Department said Calvin Leon Williams Jr., 23, of the Roanoke Rapids area is wanted for the armed robbery of the Blue Flame on February 19.
He is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 147 pounds.
The robbery occurred shortly before 11 p.m. when a person described as a black male wearing a ski mask and carrying a gun entered the store.
The man demanded money from the clerk while two customers were inside. No one was hurt.
The man left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot headed to First Street.
