Two Roanoke Rapids men died in a single vehicle car crash in Warren County, the state Highway Patrol reported this morning.

Christopher P. Williams, 27, and Michael Eric Ashe, 31, were traveling north on Hedgepeth Road about 13 miles south of Warrenton when the vehicle they were in crossed the center line and the car overturned shortly before 2:20 Sunday morning.

Both men were ejected from the vehicle, according to a report by the investigating trooper.

Alcohol use is suspected, the report says.
