Detective Joe Sealey said the first stabbing occurred in the Enfield area off Highway 561 shortly after 7 p.m.
Sealey, along with deputies R. Viverette and A. Lewis, responded and discovered the victim had been stabbed in the abdomen.

Investigation led to the arrest of John Bradley Jr. on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Bradley was jailed on $60,000 bond and has a June 14 court date.
The second stabbing took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the Halifax area.
Sealey, Viverette and Lewis responded and found the victim was stabbed in the upper back.

Viverette charged 47-year-old Phyllis Renee McGee of Weldon with assault with a deadlly weapon inflicting serious injury and second degree trespassing.
McGee was jailed on $5,000 bond and has a June 6 court date.
Sealey could not be immediately reached this morning for additional comment.
