Ronald Richardson was charged with two counts of felony larceny and one count of breaking and entering.

Joe Richardson was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, Matthews said.

The men are not believed to be related, Lieutenant Bobby Martin said.

The investigation began November 1 when officers responded to the Hollister area and spoke with an individual about some items that had been stolen from his property.

Both men have been placed in the Halifax County Jail under $5,000 bonds and have December 15 court dates.
