Dia Denton, assistant Halifax County manager, said Wilson, 70, was found by members of a search and rescue team headed by the Enfield fire and police departments.
She was discovered in a ditch about six blocks from Woodhaven Resthome where she lived.
She was taken to Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids for treatment but was otherwise OK, Denton said.
