The second victim in a Sunday night shooting died this morning, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Lieutenant Bobby Martin said in a news release Jennilee A. Foster, 26, was pronounced dead at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

Family and friends reported to rrspin.com that Foster was placed on life support following the shooting, in which her boyfriend, Thomas Tyrone “Tomcat” Davis, 38, was also fatally wounded.

The sheriff's office, Martin said in a news release, is discouraging followup questions on the murders as detectives to continue to investigate.

What the sheriff's office has released thus far is the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. in the area of Delta Drive off Highway 158 near the old airport.

Upon arriving, deputies discovered Davis was fatally shot and Foster was also shot and at the time in critical condition.

Witnesses said they saw a white Crown Victoria drive up to the home and a man exited the vehicle and entered the house.

Following the shooting the suspect ran from the house and got back in the vehicle, which sped away at a high rate of speed towards Highway 158.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at at 252-583-4444 or the sheriff's office at 252-583-1991 or 252-583-8051.

RIP Jennilee i will always love you and never will forget you. Im tired of RR and the people in it. None of you were there so you dont know what happen. Why dont someone ask the real questions? Like why would someone do this them? What if it was you? The most important of them all would be(WHEN IS THE LAW GONNA STAND UP AND DO THIER JOBS?)

I will miss both of them, they were good friends to have, and their deaths should not have been this way, because they were good to everyone who knew them. I hope that they will catch the people responsible for this, and I hope they will be put away for the rest of their life.
