Williams Williams Halifax County Sheriff's Office

A second person has been identified and is wanted for a Saturday breaking and entering in Hollister.

One person was arrested the night of the crime after the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office’s new dog, Brody, and his handler, Deputy Jason Keeter, located him about three-quarters of a mile from the victim’s house on Highway 561.

Lieutenant Chuck Hasty said Detective Tyree Davis obtained warrants within the last 48 hours for Kenneth Olander Williams, 43, a former Halifax resident now living in Raleigh.

Williams is wanted for larceny and his information was forwarded to the Raleigh Police Department through NCAWARE.

Gregory O’Neal Bowden, 24, of Littleton was taken into custody by Deputy Keeter and Davis without incident the night of the crime.

The victim told deputies that he saw two men stealing rims from his property and the men ran off.

Anyone with information on Williams is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
