Runaway found safe

Hunter Hunter Halifax County Sheriff's Office

A 15-year-old runaway from Enfield was located by deputies from the Halifax County Sheriff's Office and a Littleton police officer safe in Littleton Thursday night.

Lieutenant Bobby Martin said the sheriff's office received information Karlisha Hunter was staying at a house in the Information Grocery area.

Around 9 p.m. information was received that was she was seen in the area of Robinson's Funeral Home in Littleton where Officer J. Langley and sheriff's office Sergeant Greg Richardson and his squad picked the girl up unharmed.

Hunter, was last seen safe on June 24 in the 2000 block of Johnny Johnson Road in the Enfield area.
