Detective Rich Somogyi told WRAL a 911 caller reported the fire at 1136 Arcola Road around 1:45 a.m. The fire destroyed the home.
The identities of the men who died haven't been released.
The cause of the fire hasn't been determined, but it does not appear to be suspicious, Somogyi said. The State Bureau of Investigation has been called to help the sheriff's office in the investigation.
