RRPD issues arrest warrant for Jenkins

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department had issued an arrest warrant for Tony Lynn Jenkins, who remains in the Halifax County Jail.

The warrant, according to Captain Andy Jackson, is for a count of larceny in chose in action.

The charge stems from the larceny of a check from Pleasant Used Cars, which Jenkins allegedly cashed at a grocery store. He allegedly signed a fictitious name to the back of the check.

This guy is done. By the time he is released from Halifax County Jail, he'll be in the back of a RR police car heading straight to the city jail.
