Proctor named top Gaston firefighter

Logan Proctor, a three year veteran of the Gaston Fire and Rescue Department, has been named Firefighter of the Year for 2011.

He is a student enrolled at East Carolina University and the Paramedic Academy located at Lenoir Community College.

Proctor, left, is pictured with Chief Ed Porter Jr., in the photo above.
