Bell Roanoke Rapids Police Department

Roanoke Rapids police are looking for a man reported missing by his family March 23.

Samuel Lee Bell, 41, was last seen leaving his house at 810 East Ninth Street around 4 p.m. and getting into a gray Malibu or Impala. He may be in the company of a black male.

Captain Andy Jackson said it is possible Bell may be headed to Minnesota or Wyoming where he has family.

Family members told police he had been acting strangely and rambling before he left.

He may be wearing a white shirt, bib overalls, blue and gray tennis shoes and large frame glasses.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Charles Vaught at 252-326-3945, Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 or 911.
