The woman was waiting in the parking lot of Chockoyotte Park shortly before 9:45 p.m. when a man dressed in all black clothes and wearing a black mask and gloves approached her carrying a knife with a 6-inch to 10-inch blade with a dark handle.
Captain Andy Jackson said the man threatened he would cut her throat if he didn't comply with his demands.
Officer Chris Woodruff and his dog Zeusa were dispatched to the park but were unable to detect the presence of anyone.
The woman was unable to give a definite clothing description and did not recognize the man's voice.
