This man is wanted for using a stolen credit card at the Marathon store.

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating separate reports of people using stolen debit cards to pay for merchandise.

Detective Charles Vaught is investigating a case on June 26 where a man came into the New Dixie Mart at 1910 Julian R. Allsbrook Highway. He presented a Premier Insight credit card and bought $32 worth of gas and left the scene.

He was seen driving a black four door vehicle, possibly a Ford. A white female with blond or brown hair was in the vehicle with him.

The police department is also investigating a case where a man walked into the Marathon at Highway 158 and Zoo Road and used a stolen credit card to buy merchandise. Detective Frankie Griffin is investigating this case.

The man was driving a silver Chevy Malibu or Impala, possibly a 2006 model.

Anyone who can identify the people in the photos is encouraged to call the police department at 252-533-2810 or Halifax County Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
