Captain Andy Jackson said a person described as a black male entered the store and showed the clerk a stainless steel handgun, possibly an automatic and demanded money.
The clerk complied and the man fled the store and was last seen heading to the mobile home dealership beside it.
The man stood between 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall and either had a lazy left eye or a deformed left eye.
He was wearing what appeared to be a New York Yankees ball cap and a long sleeve shirt with a white T-shirt showing from underneath. He was wearing blue jeans.
