Police investigate suspicious death at Carolina Inn

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating a death that occurred at the Carolina Inn.

Captain Andy Jackson said police received the call Friday morning.

Jackson said it is being treated as a suspicious death investigation but declined to release the name of the deceased.

He said until autopsy results are received he would not comment on the suspected cause of death.

Further comments on this post are being suspended indefinitely. There are several reasons for this. I have four kids with Chris and he was a good man.he would give you anything all you had to do was ask.now to greed his life was taken from my kids grandkids and his other children ;grandkids.and the test of his family.I pray to God that justice will be done rip chris your loved and missed

And by the way my dad didn't do drugs but I feel confident to say he was robbed for his money so someone else could by drugs!!!!! N I would like to throw this out there heather u need not to comment on the behalf of my father u failed as a person or a friend u helped watch him die!!!! But you will have to answer to god for that

Heather you say he was a friend. But if that so why did you walk and let it happen You no what happy But you are walk but Chris is not. But god will get all of your that had something to do with it. Hope you can't sleep at night I don't no you and don't like you. Chris was a good friend to me and he sure be here with he family and real friend. Miss you Chris. RIP

This is my father! Words can don't describe what was taken from us.8 kids 18 grand kids a son uncle brother best friend to the end.... I no in my heart you ate with god but taken too soon and I pray that if anyone reading this message would give all the facts you have. In my eyes we are here to do the work of god and it would be a consious on my chest if I with held information from his lived ones. God is hood and my dad will get justice if god has to take the upper hand... Dear god let this touch the heart of anyone that knows anything about this and at least give us closure.. We lost a true angle now he I'd the wings on my back and our lives have been changed forever!!!!!!go d bless us

yes Heather chris will never be for gotten b/c he has 8 children,18 grand children a mother,Brother and 2 sister's.But how do you thank my brother is in a better place he is COLD AND IN THE GROUND. you are walking around every day and going on with your LIFE and get to see your child and love one's. I hope you can not shut your eye's at nite b/c you could of my brother and did not. so maybe one day when you need HELP some one will help but be to LATE ALL SO.

No one misses Chris, my beloved brother, more than me and his immediate family. It's very sad that Chris lost his life to a bunch of money-hungry scumbags. The truth and justice will prevail one day; it always takes one lie to cover up another one, right Heather? Time will tell. God Bless your soul, my brother, I'll always miss and love you.

Gone, but definately not forgotten. I miss you so bad Chris! You were (are) a really good friend to me...no strings attached! I done the best I could possibly do to save your life, but apparently it was too late! We all know you're in a better place now looking after all your loved ones.Hopefully you're looking over me as well!!!! Rest in Peace Christopher Lynn!!!!!
