Police investigate morning armed robbery

Roanoke Rapids police continue to investigate a home invasion in the no hundred block of Jackson Street.

Deputy Chief Adam Bondarek said around 2 this morning officers responded to a call where people described as three black males broke into the house armed with knives and demanded sneakers and cash. They left with an undisclosed amount of money and property. No one was injured.
