A man already facing charges in an incest case was charged today with allegedly committing the act, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Detective J. Sealey charged Roanoke Rapids native Ronald Anthony Davis, 39, with one count of felony incest.

Sealey had filed the warrant in September but Davis, who lives in Maryland, couldn't be located until today. He was arrested in Roanoke Rapids today and jailed on $10,000 bond. He is awaiting a December 21 court case.

Sealey said in a news release on the matter the arrest today stems from following an investigation conducted in August by Deputy G. Page and Detective C.E. Carroll which concluded with Davis being charged with felony conspiracy to commit incest, disseminate obscene writing or photograph, attempted incest, impersonating a law enforcement officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Major Bruce Temple said at the time of the initial arrest, Davis allegedly showed the child, a relative, a pornographic photo and attempted to have sex with the child.
