The North Carolina Employment Security Commission will be setting up a temporary operation. They will NOT be operational tomorrow. They expect to be back up and running in the temporary location as soon as possible.  An address of this temporary location will be released at a later date.  Limited services can be accessed at the Enfield Share Network Access Point for those residents in that area 121 S. Railroad Street Enfield, North Carolina 27823.  Citizens in the Scotland Neck area are available at the Regeneration Development Group Access Point 331 E. 9th Street Scotland Neck, North Carolina 27874.

All citizens are reminded to stay away from the affected area so that emergency responders and power crews can work through the area as efficiently as possible.  Please be reminded that all generators should be operated in a well ventilated area.  To not do so could result in carbon monoxide poisoning in the residence.  Please also be reminded to stay away from any down power lines.  Do not assume the power lines are without power.
