A man who allegedly stripped metal from air conditioners at McIver Elementary School was arrested late last month and jailed on $10,000 bond.

Keith Cordale Williams, 22, of Littleton, faces charges of felony larceny and possession of stolen goods. He has a December 15 court date.

According to Detective Roy Rooks of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, Williams allegedly took copper lines, cores, aluminum and copper radiators from the units to CJ Recycling in Warren County.

School officials said damage was $20,000.

Deputy Jason Keeter arrested Williams on October 29 following investigation by Rooks.
