One of the men, according to Lieutenant Bobby Martin of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, has ties to the area.
Walker.
That man is Chamonte Walker. The man believed to be with him is Meeko Sha Carraway.
Both men are believed to be in the Roanoke Rapids area and are considered armed and dangerous.
Carraway is wanted in the homicide and Walker is wanted for questioning, said Martin.
Carraway stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. Walker stands 6 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds.
Martin said Walker has family in the area. “Sometimes, people from big cities like to hide out in smaller areas.”
