Man faces shed B&E counts

A Roanoke Rapids man faces charges after investigation of a shed break-in on Gardner Drive.

Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Detective Tyree Davis said Deputy Herbert Williams investigated a case Friday where a shed was being broken into.

Williams charged Joshua Thomas “Green Bean” Green, 22, with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.

Green turned himself in to Deputy Williams Saturday and was jailed on $5,000 bond. His court date is March 15.

I agree Tammy, he does have a heart of gold and drugs got the best of him this time. It's so sad to see him do this with his life because deep down inside this is not who he is. Hope this will open his eyes and make him realize that as long as he is using drugs he's never going to have a "life". Best of luck Beaner!

I hope and pray that Josh can get him some help for the problem he has.He has a heart of gold and he is a hard worker.Its so sad when you can let drugs over take you and make you into a person that you really aint.I Know GOD will help him get though all of this and that the judge will see that he needs help.Love you Josh, Aunt Tammy...........
