Man faces charges in August crimes

An August investigation into two business break ins has resulted in the arrest of a Littleton man.

According to Detective Joe Sealey of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, three breaking and entering charges against Jerry Ikee Stovall, 21, occurred at the same business.

Investigation by Sealey and Detective Roy Rooks resulted in the following charges: four counts of breaking and entering, four counts of felony larceny, three counts of felony possession of stolen goods, two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, one count of attempted obtaining property by false pretenses and four counts of injury to personal property.

Stovall was given a $50,000 bond and awaits a February 16 court date.

Warrants have been obtained and further arrests are pending in these cases.

Details on the location of the crimes were not immediately available this morning.
