A man wanted for a break-in in Roanoke Rapids was arrested Thursday.

Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Detective James Matthews with assistance from Deputy Joe Puhak arrested Nepolia “Coo Coo” Alston, 51, of Roanoke Rapids, for felony larceny and conspiracy to commit felony larceny.

Alston’s  arrest was the result of an investigation by Matthews of items being stolen from the property of James Kerr.

Alston was placed under a $2,000 bond and has a June 2 court date.
