If this man did get behind the wheel knowing he had a seizure disorder, it's just as bad as if he were legally drunk. People who insist on driving with that type of medical problem are playing the odds every day. I lost a good friend years ago who was killed (as a pedestrian) when a woman with a known seizure problem lost control of her vehicle. The woman was eventually convicted of a felony homicide and lost her license, but that doesn't bring him back. If this man cares for his family, he won't get behind the wheel of a car.

This was a bad thing that happened to him and his kids. Hopefully he will learn his lesson and if he has seziures he does not need to be drinking. I do know that he has been a father since he was 15 and I can say that he has always worked and took care of his kids. there are more kids have babies at 15 so that comment should not have been made at least up until now I know him and I know he has taken care of his kids and worked. Not saying that he done right by drinking and driving!!! But dont talk about 15 year olds having babies because it may be your child having one at 15!

Oh.... Because I am sure that the blood alcohol tests that were run showed NO signs of alcohol and that the PD can just charge that at will. Nice try... And thanks for letting us know he was WITH HIS KIDS IN THE CAR!! How irresponsible can you be to be drunk driving with your children in the vehicle?? "Dusty would never do anything too harm his kids in any kind of way he is a great day and has always been since he was 15" Well having kids at 15... sounds like the perfect dad to me. Sounds to responsible to drink and drive. Let him go!! He didn't know better!! Toss him in the slammer until he figures it out for himself!!

Anonymous 1 & 2: While he may very well have had a seizure, I do not believe the police would randomly charge him with a DUI if his blood alcohol level had not been above a .08. He should consider himself lucky, if he did in fact have a seizure, on top of being intoxicated, that he did not kill himself or someone else. The article does not mention his children being in the car, if they were, that makes him a very irresponsible parent, no matter how much he loves them. He endangered their lives by drinking and driving. Let's hope he learned his lesson before his children or someone elses children are killed one day due to his negligence.

Just to let everyone know Dusty had a seziure and you see that the media says nothing about that... they just try to make this out to be related to drving while imparied to make them look good... but the truth will be known. If the media is going to tell the story then they need to tell the whole story not just what they think people want to hear. We love you Dusty and we know the truth to all this.. Your a great Dad and a great person in general so all the peps that want to believe what the media is saying are just as stupid as they are
