Detective James Matthews of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said the 911 center received the alarm call, indicating the building was broken into.
Investigation by Matthews led to the arrest of James Andrew Peters, 31.
He was charged with felony breaking and entering and jailed on $5,000 bond after processing by Deputy J. Clark. His court date is June 29.
