Dill Dill Roanoke Rapids Police Department

A 58-year-old Roanoke Rapids man is in jail on $200,000 secured bond after he allegedly stabbed one person and choked and attempted to stab his former girlfriend.

Travis Mark Dill of Madison Street faces charges of simple physical assault, burglary, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and one count of communicating threats.

Police were called to the 400 block of Madison Street around 9:30 Thursday night and learned that Dill came to the house where his former girlfriend and new boyfriend live.

Captain Andy Jackson said investigation showed all had been drinking when an argument ensued and Dill allegedly used a utility knife to stab the man and choked and tried to stab the woman.

Dill apparently used to live with the woman before they broke up and moved with someone else in the next block.

The victims are OK and Dill has a December 14 court date.

Maybe they will put him behind bars this time. They let him go the first time when he tried to kill someone! Or not, maybe they will let him go again so he can kill someone next time
