Narcotics Agent Tim Harris was on patrol in the Weldon and responded to a call a larceny just occurred on Trueblood Road.
Agent Harris was in the area when he spotted the vehicle the man, Thomas Wayne Banty, was driving. Agent Harris attempted to stop the vehicle but the man refused to.
Agent Harris continued to pursue Banty until the he pulled into his front yard, where Agent Harris took Banty into custody without further incident.
Banty was charged with driving with a revoked license and failing to stop for blue light and siren. The larceny remains under investigation, Hasty told The Spin. Speeds in the chase never reached more than 60 mph.
Banty’s next court date is Oct. 26 and his bond was $500.
