The man, Marquette Coley was wanted for a September 28 shooting in Warren County and has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, according to Detective Doug Pilgreen of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies B.K. Knight and O.L. Wiltsie found Coley hiding between a bed and a wall. He was turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and has an October 13 court date.
No information on the shooting was immediately available.
