The Halifax County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for a 15-year-old runaway from the Enfield area. The girl, Karlisha Hunter, was last seen safe on June 24.

Lieutenant Bobby Martin said there is no reason to suspect the child was abducted and the case is being treated as a runaway juvenile.

She was last seen wearing a brown shirt and either blue jeans or blue shorts.

She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 129 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen in the 2000 block of Johnny Johnson Road in the Enfield area.

The family is asking anyone with information on her location to contact local Law enforcement or call 911.
