Saturday night around 10:45, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Chockoyotte Street where a 1996 Ford vehicle struck a tree.
The driver was identified as Jonathan Martice Andino, 23, of Halifax.
Hinton said Andino was not responsive and transported to Halifax Regional Medical Center by Halifax EMS who were performing CPR.
Upon his arrival at HRMC, Andino was treated and later pronounced dead. An autopsy was performed at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville and investigators Monday were notified that Andino suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his torso which caused his death.
No further information is available at this time.

I do think that I mentioned the ATTEMPT to use proper grammar and spelling.... I never said I was the perfect example of such. Oh... it's CONDEMNING by the way... that's an easy one!!
Yes.. because "hood justice" is what is needed here!! HOW MORONIC OF A STATEMENT!! How do we know this wasn't already an issue of "hood justice"??
Are people really this unintelligent as to think that retaliation is the answer?!? If "hood justice" is the right answer, then please... inform me as to when the killings can stop? When we are all dead? Or when we have all lost loved ones? You cannot possibly be in pain of loss if your idea of justice is street justice!
