Boy faces charges from B&E

A 17-year-old Seaboard boy was arrested Saturday for a breaking and entering that occurred two months ago in Roanoke Rapids.

Daniel Hunter Floyd faces charges of breaking, entering and larceny and injury to property following an investigation by Detective J. Sealey of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

He was jailed on $10,000 bond and has a June 15 court date.

No further details were immediately availble.

well yeah he was and he has repaid that debt. he was with the wrong ppl and made a bad choice...u live and u learn from ur mistakes.i'm sure everyone has made a wrong choice or two in life.hopefully we all learn from them.and u dont know his cirrcumstances with his school and for all u know he has recieved his ged.

dna.. come on now who's stretchin the truth and sure his prints were on the glass he cleaned the area up....he has been there several times within the last year along with several other ppl and also weeks before chasin 2 men out of the house that broke in. so i'll go bankrupt tryin to prove his innocents.

yeah, just wait for the facts in the court case to come out... like the fact that his fingerprints and DNA were found on the broken glass hidden in the woods from the victim's house... if he didnt break into her house, why would he hide glass in the woods???
my money is on Joe Sealey and the Halifax County Sheriffs Office.

By aluminum foil I was referring to the roll I had to buy to cover my windows and doors. Aluminum coil would be the proper name for the apparatus as I am not familiar with carpentry items and things of the like. The name comes from the baseball legend in which I am a huge fan,Catfish Hunter; but if you must know I am a Powell from birth.

My Persian cats certainly didn't wander off with my aluminum. Why would law enforcement charge someone if they didn't have the proper evidence. Being an elder in this town, my windows and doors shall remain locked and the alarm on!
