Body found in SN likely suicide victim

Scotland Neck police say a man found dead off Grace Street and Air Boss Parkway is likely the victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police Joe Williams said a woman walking her dog discovered the body of the young black male shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday.

An autopsy was scheduled today and Williams declined to release the name of the person pending notification of next of kin.
