A Roanoke Rapids man has been arrested in the theft of dirt bikes after the Halifax County Sheriff's Office received a Crimestoppers tip on the matter.

Major Bruce Temple said the call came into Crimestoppers after an rrspin.com reader saw Wednesday's account of the theft on the local news website.

Lentrick Antonia High, 33, was charged with possession of stolen goods by Deputy C.H. Boden Wednesday night..

The two dirt bikes were recovered on Fox Run Court and returned to the owner.

The caller will receive a reward from Crimestoppers.
