James Coleman Jr., 18, of Weldon, faces charges of three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny, one count of damage to real property and one count of injury to real property.
Coleman, who was arrested Tuesday, was jailed on $15,000 bond.
The police department has already arrested Jamill Simmons, 18, a former football player for Weldon High. He is charged with the same counts as Coleman.
Raymond Mills, who also faces charges in the July 24 Weldon Produce armed robbery, has also been charged in the crimes and faces the same counts as the other two men.
The arrests stem from two break-ins at Weldon High School on April 24 and one on June 20 at Weldon Elementary School.
Thirty laptops were stolen from the high school, along with the carts and two wireless carts. Fourteen laptops were stolen from Weldon Elementary School. Avens said the carts were recovered but only three computers were recovered. They were presumably sold, he said.
The investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
