Including the kitchen sink.

That was on the list of items a man was charged with stealing today in Weldon.

Lieutenant Bobby Martin of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office charged Derrick Garner, 28, with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and misdemeanor larceny.

Garner’s arrest stems from an investigation into break-ins in the Green Street area of Weldon. One home was broken into and a hot water heater and iron sink were taken along with assorted tools.

Garner was jailed on $10,000 bond and has a March 17 court date.
