Additional damage has been reported from a drive-by shooting that occurred Sunday morning at River Court Apartments.

Captain Andy Jackson of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department said reports of damages to two vehicle were also reported.

A bullet went through the rear window of a Lexus and exited through the back rear window while a Nissan sustained front quarter side panel damage.

Bullets also entered two apartment buildings and caused about $700 in damages. No was hurt.

The call was received around 4 a.m. when the four victims saw a Ford f 250 dually pull up and a window rolled down and a gun lifted. Several shots were fired but the apparent intended victims safely sought cover.

Jackson said the dually used in the drive-by is not believed to be same one use in a robbery at the P&A Pawn Shop last month. The dually in the shooting was red and the one in the pawn shop heist was black.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police department at 252-533-2810 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.

I guess brains aren't a requirement to be a "thug". Anyone care to place a wager on what the mug shots look like when these animals get caught? I'll go out on a limb and say they have ties to D.C or N.Y.. that seems to be the new trend. Just like a swarm of locust, the thuglife is destroying everything it comes into contact with.
